This summer marks the 26th year of our professional (and personal) development program for college teachers.
Teachers from all types of higher learning institutions and from a variety of disciplines will gather in South-Central Virginia during June 28-July 2, 2015 for an exchange of learning, teaching, and philosophy. The focus of discussion and activities for the entire week will be on innovations and problems of instruction in undergraduate education. The sole mission of The Virginia Master Teacher Seminar is improvement in classroom and on-line instruction.
The seminar is an assembly of dedicated educators. Each participant will be asked to submit ideas to the seminar for discussion. The focal point of ideas and teaching strategies will be innovations, best practices, and excellence in classroom teaching. Seminar staff will lead special sessions centered on specific interest of the participants.
